Our vision is to support a vibrant and sustainable local economy that creates jobs, generates substantial savings, and strengthens the quality of life we enjoy in our Westchester municipalities.

ABOUT THE SUMMIT

Through the Regional Leadership Summit on March 29 as well as precursor and follow-up events, we aim to engage directly with elected and civic leaders to build and prioritize our inventory of “shovel ready” sustainability projects. These are critical and timely steps in our region’s readiness to compete for the Governor’s $40 million in implementation funding that may become available in November. This important process will enable NWEAC to lead and link efforts with colleagues throughout the region, aid in the sharing of best practices and position our region’s leaders for success with future efforts.
